Hakuna Matata House Rules

Welcome to Hakuna Matata where you have no worries! We’re so happy you chose our property for your vacation. Before you settle in and get comfortable, we would like to make you aware of the house rules in place at our vacation rental. Understanding and complying with our house rules will make for a comfortable and fun stay for everybody.

General:

  • Please treat our house with the same respect as you would your own home. We’ve put a lot of effort into making this into a lovely space to be enjoyed by our guests.
  • In case of any accidental damage, please let us know. We’ll look into the issue and decide if and how much the deduction or repair cost will be.
  • We hope you have lots of laughter and fun times during your visit. However, we’d appreciate if you’re mindful of the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during nighttime hours. Any excessive noise and complaints from neighbors may force us to have to evict you! Tybee is very conscious of vacation rentals and people look for reasons to complain to the local authorities. If you have any disputes with neighbors, please contact us immediately.
  • No smoking. The house is smoke free. Please refrain from smoking in the house. Smoking outside the house is acceptable. Please don’t leave your cigarette butts laying around and throw them in the trash when finished and they are no longer hot. Discovering guests have been smoking in the house will result in loss of the security deposit.
  • Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited.
  • No pets allowed except for service animals.
  • Please ensure you read and fully understand the house rules at the beginning of your stay. If anything is unclear, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings.
  • Some dishwasher and washing machine detergent are provided for your use. Also, some soap, shampoo, etc. is provided for your use.
  • Any visitors must comply with all house rules.
  • Guests shall allow homeowner or service personnel access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Homeowner shall give a reasonable notice prior to visiting the property.
  • Please don’t take any bath towels to the beach or pool! There are beach towels for that!
  • Breach of any of the house rules is a breach of the terms and conditions of occupancy as per the rental agreement and may result in eviction from the property.
  • Please leave your pets at home. While we are pet lovers, some visitors are allergic. In order to accommodate all our guests, we decided to ask that you leave your pets at home when visiting. Of course, service animals are welcome! We just ask that we are notified of the service animal.
